Puzzle Portraits: Profiles built from sculpted braids, with faces painted as interlocking puzzle pieces.

Each portrait starts with a painted profile. The face is divided into puzzle pieces in different skin tones, then the hair is built up by hand from braids that are coiled, stacked and swirled across the canvas.

No two are alike. One sits on deep brown with cream, caramel and chocolate braids. Another adds soft lavender to the crown. The newest pops off a bright blue background with a pink flower and a pearl necklace.
